ABOUT THE COMPANY:
Ron Yeo's architectural practice over the last 50+ years has consisted primarily of cultural/recreational projects along with creative custom home designs. Although he still consults on various projects, but he is now 95% retired and has converted his architectural office into an ART Studio…. having FUN creating “Garbage Glamour Art". He enjoys making a variety of items out of leftover stuff……. Recently he has developed a series of interesting ART projects out of re-cycled bottle caps, tossed out used items and abandoned “beach treasures”. Ron is an admitted “collector” & can’t stand tossing anything away. He is probably best known for saving left over ceramic tile from his various building projects and re-using them in a variety of public restroom projects.
Over the past 4 years, Ron has had solo exhibits at Sherman Gardens & the Newport Beach Central Library, Group exhibits include the Huntington Beach Art Center, Coastline Community College, Long Beach Open Studios Tour, the Costa Mesa Art Venture, as well as displaying 16 of his sculptures at the Schack Art Center in Everett Washington.
